No but definitely report back. It looks freaking sweet.

I remember trying one of their brews and not carrying for it much. Can't remember which one it was though.
I'm in Hoboken sometimes....What's the name of the place?
Picked up a couple of twelve packs of Fat Tire on the way back from ATL this weekend & some Dogfish 90 Minute IPA. It's an absolute joke they can't sell New Belgium in AL. Dogfish Head is hard to find down here, also. I'll wire one of you some money if you will send me a sixer of Bitches Brew. Aussie...did you ever try it with your brother?
No not yet.
Smuttynose makes some pretty good stuff....the Big Beer Series in particular houses most of their better offerings. IPA "The Finest Kind" is pretty good as well. Anybody gonna be running out to get the Westvleteren 12 brick Wednesday?

For the most part all their stuff gets good reviews. Old Brown Dog Ale is one of my favorite brown ales

Smuttynose makes a great run of the mill IPA (along the lines of Avery or Stone). The Big A IPA packs a punch.
Still on a Founders kick, especially now that it's cold. Tough to beat the Double Chocolate Breakfast Stout.
Headed to Beer City (Asheville, NC) and will stock up on some new brews this weekend.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
I was told that New Belgium was setting up a distribution center in one of the Carolinas and that AL would be receiving a lot of them as a result... any truth to that?
I know Sierra Nevada set up shop in Asheville, and I think you're right that New Belgium did as well. Not to be a dick about it, but my guess is you will quickly tire (pun intended) of Fat Tire. It's really not very good from a craft perspective.
That would be my guess as well. I can get New Belgium any time I want and never really do.
I live in Atlanta now, so I don't have most of the lack o' beer problems I had when in Alabama. Except for all of the 'Bama brews I can't get now.
Reporting back from asheville. Stocked up on a lot of good stuff.
Off of memory:
Boulevard Brewery's Double Wide IPA
Modus Hoporandi IPA
Oatmeal, Cream, and Blueberry Stouts (3 different stouts not all in one) from Dark Horse Brewery
Dark Horse Brewery Reserve Special Black Ale
Weyerbacher Double Simcoe
21st Amendment Brew Free or Die Hard IPA
Dark Hollow Bourbon Barreled Stout Bomber
May be 1 or 2 more in there, but I'm excited about this batch of brews.
Got a shipment of Deschutes stuff from a friend in Washington today I can't wait to dig into.
Abyss 2011 and 2012
Black Butte XXIV
Interesting. I haven't heard about it honestly.
Double Wide is pretty solid. I want to try Modus Hoporandi just becasue it's an awesome name for a beer.
The one beer forgot out of that stash was the best:
Dogfish Head Burton Baton Imperial IPA
10% ABV...awesome beer.
I actually have some of that on the way.
Along with some many others. Will report in when I get my package.
Sam Adams Imperial White
Had this over the holidays and while not spectacular, a very solid offering IMO..and of course there's the whole 10.3% thing
Did you order it from one of those websites?
No I managed to find some of it locally.
I also have someone sending me some Great Lakes Christmas Ale. He is also sending me some Hopslam when it is released. Super excited about that.
I did order some from that website though. Here is a list of what is on the way. I have never got to try any of this so really anticipating this package.
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2012
Dogfish Head Hellhound
Founders Dirty Bastard
Founders Red Rye
Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot
Stone Veritcal Epic 12.12.12.
Firestone Walker Reserve
La Fin Du Monde by Unibroue.
That's a good jont there
This was my haul today. Some really good stuff.
Just bumped into this thread. The BYC has a mini version of this. This is awesome.
Have you drank the good island county bourbon stout yet? That beer is amazing. Honestly on of the best I've ever had in my life. Drink it slow, very complex and the flavored change throughout.
