Wish I could have got my hands on some of their Blacknote Stout.
My favorite breweries over the years have been Stone and Bells, after that I've got 'Thomas Creek' which is upstate SC but getting big and 'Westbrook' is great but is still local Charleston as far as I know.
Can you see what I see? Yes please
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
I have a keeper for a wife. Sent my 6 month pregnant wife to my local beer exchange during lunch hour to grab me a sixer of hopslam. She said she got some funny looks.
Found out the stock sold out in 3 hours.
Picked up some Odell's Red Ale. Never tried it but I haven't been disappointed by anything by them yet.
One of you should just send me a case of Hopslam since its not available here!
And lol at Staropramen, no bueno
"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
Can't get it here either. I can get Pliny the Elder and will trade someone for some Hopslam.
Deschutes Hop in the Dark CDA and Grand Teton Pursuit of Hoppiness.
That Pursuit of Hoppiness is a BIG beer. They really ramped up the ABV if I recall to deal with the hops. Probably not quite enough citrus to balance, but I'm not one to complain about a heavy hops finish. Haven't had the Deschutes, but looks good.
Hop in the Dark is really good. Surprised there is any still around. It came out in September I think.
The shop here had a few bottles left. I saw that the bottle was a bit old, but for 5 dollars I thought I'd give it a try.
The hops might have faded a little but I bet it is still good.
Just cracked it open, and the hops definitely seemed to have faded but it's still a good beer.
What's the worst beer everyone's tried? (outside of light beer schwill and such).
Here's mine linked below. The stuff was god-awful.
Ratings for Belzebuth; Belgian Strong Pale Ale style beer brewed by Brasserie Grain d' Orge (Brasserie Jeanne d'Arc SA) in Ronchin Lille, France. 78 out of 100 with 328 BeerAdvocate opinions.
It was an Abita. I forget which one. It was so bad I have never had any of their other stuff.
I've never tried any Abita brews. See 'em all the time, but something about the packaging (yeah I know that sounds unreasonable) turns me off from trying any.
Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
Telling myself it's not as hard as it seems - Led Zeppelin
Covington Brewhouse Ponchatrain Pilsner. I love their Strawberry Ale so I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what but it tasted awful. I only made it two sips.
That is a great beer.
Oak Aged Yeti and all its derivations are great.

You weren't kidding about this being a big beer. I'm really enjoying the beer.
Worst craft I've ever tried? Pumking by a landslide. I struggled for a really long time to finish that bomber. (I know this opinion is not very popular)

Never had it but I'm not a big fall/octoberfest beers so I can't hate on you.
I can't think of the worst because I have erased it from my memory. Like what I would do if I got raped...
It was the smokiest brew I've ever had. I would take a gulp and it would literally taste like I was exhaling a bonfire. I have no idea how anyone could enjoy this.
I have a rule that I will finish any new beer I buy just to say I did. This was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I decided to chug it down. It was so bad that I couldnt taste my cereral in the morning.
I love beer. It is part If who I am. But I will never again order any beer described as smokey.
