I'm hearing the same will be drinking tomorrow.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
I am anxious to try my GL BA Blackout Stout as well. They make some damn good brews.
They do. I'm hoping to add BA Blackout one of my collection i have going of BA
I have a 2012 and a friend is sending me a four pack of the 2014 batch as well.
Got a four pack of Doublewide IPA and 3 Dark Hollow Bourbon Barrelled Stout bombers last night. Should be a nice weekend.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
How is that Dark Hollow? It is my personal goal to try every bourbon barrel aged stout in existence.
Had a glass of Goose Island Big John tonight....had no idea it was the base for Bourbon County until afterwards but it makes sense. Has a sweetness that is kind of unusual for a stout. Also was fortunate enough to get Hopslam on tap tonight and holy crap....as good as it is in bottle it is even better on tap.
Hopslam was really good on tap. I had it in a bottle and I actually wasn't pleased. Maybe it was my taste buds or something but I didn't like it much.
But then I had it on tap haha. All better
Teein' Off on Links
As I recall, it is the boobs. But I will let you know tomorrow for sure
This years Maharaja is much better than last. Finishing it after doing and old and new comparison. Next is Alchemy Hours.
I haven't grabbed any of this years yet.
I will say it is going to be a lot better fresh regardless.
I had Oak Aged Yeti on tap last weekend and wasn't overly impressed
"I like fixing broken things" - Kevin Plank
I had it fresh last year. They must of changed it up. Was very similar to Schafly's T IPA. The Alchemy Hour is along the same line.
I like the espresso Oak Aged Yeti better than the normal OAY.
Never had Schafly's. I hear it is great.
Bottled up this 8.65 ABV DIPA tonight. Pretty happy with the flavor.
Cleaning out the fridge from random crap thats still left over from the Super Bowl. Opened a Magic Hat Pistil and good lord does it suck. Probably explains why there were still 5 left in the fridge. Going to be a struggle to finish the remaining 4.
Magic Hat is so bad.
I remember thinking #9 was damn good back in the day when my beer drinking was still limited to Bud/Coors/Natty/Miller Light and Guinness and I thought Dos Equis and Blue Moons were fancy.
Sticking with the fridge maintenance theme, Ill move on to these two remaining Lagunitas IPA's. Gotta make some space for the rest of my Nugget Nectars and Palate Wreckers.
I really need to have like a blackout night where I just hammer some stuff because my fridge is packed.
I have only had the IPA's and they are top notch. So much flavor they attack the buds. I'm going to crack a A IPA right now.
Now drinking a Santa Fe Java Stout. Pretty solid brew but not even in the same ballpark as the Espresso Yeti
I long for the days when I can spend my nights pulling random bottles of great brews to sample. This hobby sucks for a poor 22 year old
No doubt. I didn't have many to choose from when I was at that age. I have a pretty solid stash these days.
I am about to hooked up big time from Shalvoy. We are about to pull off the first trade on tBB. Hopefully the first of many.
