Drank this guy earlier. It wasn't as good as the Ten Fidy IMO, but still very good.

First time trying this. Nothing out of this world. But decent for the price I guess.

It is a solid coffee stout but not as good as other in the same category.
Ya. I think this may be my first coffee stout that hasn't been barrel aged. All I can say is "meh"
That sort of makes it tough.
It is not nearly as good as Founders Breakfast Stout though and that is not barrel aged.
That's in my area right now, on tap. Ill have to try. I just had the founders imperial stout last night. It's pretty solid.
Breakfast Stout was my first love, really its what got me into craft beer beyond basic Sam Adams/Brooklyn Brewery stuff. I always wonder if I overrated it because of that, it definitely sit ahead of Ten Fidy for me.
Oh man and Founders Imperial Stout is incredible too, I looooooved that brew.

Breakfast Stout is a year round brew. It is awesome that such a quality stout is year round.
A lot of people rate it very highly It is a top 10 beer on BA.

I think its one of the more "approachable" big stouts. A lot of females that aren't really into beer that I've had try that really liked it. These same people couldn't deal with Ten Fidy, Oak Aged Yeti, etc.
And do you know something I don't about it being year round?
Maybe I am wrong. I thought someone told me it was a year round brew. I can't even get it in my area.
Actually I've got say, this lagunitas capaccino stout is much better after warming up for 40 mins. The second glass is far far better than the first. I actually really like this second pour.
They had Founders Breakfast Stout at Taco Mac tonight, on the way out... first time I'd ever tried it... Thank God I did.
Nice little haul this weekend.
A Burton Baton Imperial IPA from Dogfish Head
Two Blue Mountain Dark Hollow Bourbon Barrelled Stout bombers
A four-pack of the Boulevard Doublewide IPA
Two Stone Enjoy By Bombers
A growler of Foothills Bourbon Barrelled People's Porter
A River Dog Pale Ale bomber (this is a new brewery in Charleston...their PA is imminently drinkable with perfect hops for a session beer)
Six-pack of Goose Island IPAs
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
Great inexpensive stout. Pretty high ABV, too.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
Doublewide is a solid brew, but I tried a Goose Island IPA on draft a few weeks back and didn't really care for it all that much to be honest.
Very nice haul. If you see some of Foothills Sexual Chocolate make sure and pick that up. I have heard it is excellent.
Sexual chocolate is delicious indeed. I had it last year in Asheville. Haven't seen it this year, but I'm not sure it leaves the state of North Carolina. Very limited production I understand.
Seems like if from what I have heard.
Picked a few things during a quick stop today
De Struise Pannepot Reserva 2009
Bell's Expedition Stout
Innis & Gunn Independence Day 2012
Coopers Vintage Ale 2009
I had bells expedition on tap the other night. Unfortunately for me, it followed a glass of founders imperial. Wish I would have had the Bells first. I probably would have been able to enjoy it more. It's hard to stack up to founders.
I think this has become my favorite IPA.
I've seen this but never tried it. Had the Edmond Fitz and that was pretty awesome.
What beer is this jumping to get the #1 spot?
Not sure I had number one before this. I have had so many damn good IPA lately it is getting tough to have a favorite but this might be it.
Close between this and Pliny. Sculpin is probably my favorite that I can get year round.
