Cooper Bateman to Bama?

Twitter feed is blowing up saying he has committed. Anyone know how accurate this story is? What are the Florida guys hearing? Also, hear is an email apparently sent to a Bama beat writer from Cooper.

Yeah I guess not. Kind of shocked being that it's out of the norm for Saban to do this. Not going to complain though. I really thought he was heading to Florida and Riley Ferguson would be our QB in this class.

We never really felt good about our chances. We had already moved on before this news came out. Well not moved on but for sure started looking heavily at other guys.

Not saying Bateman isn't great but the CBs he faces in Utah are not what I call BCS Level and I know that Dobbs has faced elite competition in playing in Georgia's largest class and also being the MVP of the Rising Seniors Bowl over the likes of Reuben Foster, Montravious Adams, Carl Lawson, Tyren Jones, Alvin Kamara, Anthony Jennings, and Eddie Printz.
I just think more stock should be given to level of competition.

I agree that has to be the single hardest thing for recruiting services to do. Getting them in camps and watching them throw against better competition is the key, but Bateman didn't have to throw for Saban to commit. To me thats huge
