It's a little odd since Saban makes considerably more than Smart while Gus and Craig will be much closer.

Auburn weeeeellllll overpaid, but cool. He was just a recruiter for us. It is not like he actually developed our QBs @ FSU (I.e. EJ). Judging from the games of auburn I saw, your QB development is severely lacking, so you did nothing to improve that. You paid a huge amount of salary for a recruiter...and you will still have qb development issues.

Kids really like him and with him selling the program he played for and had so much success at, I can only imagine the results he will have at Auburn.”
“He’s excellent in every way,” said Nee, who has covered Florida State and recruiting in the Southeast for 10 years. “He does a good job of building relationships and getting in on kids early and identifying them as a target. He’s very good at judging talent. He finds kids he likes, builds a relationship and he works endlessly until he gets the kid’s papers.
“He’s not one of these guys that gets discouraged when a kid commits to another school. Kids just love him and they really want to play for him.”
“He’s pulled a lot of kids from other areas that are getting a lot of hometown pressure to stay in the area,” Nee said. “He’s got them down to Tallahassee because they want to play for him. He never stops grinding and it shows in the results.”
