@NDatRivals: Notre Dame-USC the most watched college football game on ABC since No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 2 Michigan in '06, according to ESPN.
And the Coliseum put on a great show with an incredible atmosphere - well done SC

@NDatRivals: Notre Dame-USC also the fifth-highest rated game on any network since '91. The other four were No. 1 vs. No. 2. ND-FSU from '93 ranks first.

not surprised people like to watch train wrecks,j/k SC and ND are 2 of the most loved or hated programs in the nation based off oftheir past and most recent successes.and they are indeed relevant like it or not.

If ND & Bama face off in the MNC that will be the highest rated game in history by a large margin. Maybe even the highest rated in the history of televised sports in the U.S

Well...there is this thing called the Super Bowl...but it will probably be the highest rated cable program of all-time and will rival a lot of ratings historically.

Highly highly highly doubt it was a national draw. You had every Oregon and Florida fan in the world watching that game.
