Cruise Lines

I'm thinking about taking my lady, sister & niece & nephew on a cruise. I have never gone on one, so i'd appreciate some suggestions as far as which lines carnival, royal carribean or any suggestions.

Royal Caribbean is your best bang for your buck. There are some nice lines though if price isn't a matter.

Not really a problem as far as cost, but then again i'm not rich. What other lines are there besides those two?

Norwegian, Princess, Holland America (subsidiary of Carnival, but I can only assume different) etc.

Stay away from Carnival unless you are on a short budget. Got married on Princess cruise lines and they are great. Taken Princess and Royal Caribbean twice, carnival and holland America once and Princess is our favorite.

Been on 3 carnivals and had great times. Never been on another line though so I can't help you with comparisons.
Had an ex work for Norwegian that hated it (as an employee) and said she'd never use the line due to this reason.
Going on my 4th carnival in February. Pretty pumped.
