D/A post of the week... Mods?

  • We did this on Rivals every Friday and was wondering if it would be ok to do it here in good fun.

    Every Friday we will have a D/A post of the week thread.. People can PM their entries to me and I'll post the "D/A" post of the week every Friday.

    I just wanted to get your OK on this and see if the board is cool with it too.

  • I dunno... Posters get awfully mad around here. If the posters are cool with the ribbing it would be a lot of fun though.

  • It's done on NDs homeboard and seems all in good fun, the bad part is it turned into who can write the longest/sappiest story about our team. I think a tBB post of the week would actually work better than a homeboard post of the week.

    Most long time posters would be fine with it including myself and others. Some of the newer posters may not like it though and may not understand the point of it. I really don't care that much if you do it or not but I can see it's downfall. If the other mods/staff are fine with it I don't have a problem. The poster that sets it up will just have to remind people that this is a joke and nothing serious.

    Sorry but your Brittney Griner post would be my nomination/vote.

    Go for it. I don't have a problem with it. If it gets out of hand we will let you know. You could make a thread have people quote the ones then let anyone that wants to vote upvote the quote. You would just have to upvote them all to find out the numbers.

    You've noticed that too? Yeah a select few on our board go completely out of their way and over the top with ridiculous stories regarding ND. I can't even finish POTW posts sometimes because they're so overly dramatic.
