Damn Notre Dame is taking miami to the woodshed

Not trying to piss on the ND parade here because you have done well, but the schedule is not nearly as daunting as it looked preseason. I was with the majority in thinking you'd be lucky to win more than 8-9 but the B1G turned out to be ACC Midwest and the service academies still suck so you're back to worrying about a USC team weakened by probation.
If you go undefeated then hell yeah you're in the title talk. But I don't see where you can jump Bama, WV, Oregon, Florida, or USCe without them losing first.

about our schedule not looking so daunting now, but if we finish undefeated, don't think we will, we will be ranked ahead of those teams ND is still ND..

I will be honest, I see your point. MSU is not the team I thought they would be, scUM is still at "?", Purdue was a farce, OK is vulnerable, U$C is beatable, and BYU is "OK" as well as Stanford, and Navy had a good win today. With that said, we may not have a suicide schedule, but we face a more challenging schedule than most teams in the top 10.

If you're asking me I'll tell you not old enough to remember a great ND team. But I'm not here to flame or argue just to be a dick.
I think if you go undefeated you'll definitely be in the conversation but not a slam dunk to get there. If Bama, Florida, or USCe win out they're in no question. If Oregon wins out I don't think you jump them which is why I say you're not a lock.
Personally of all the potential matchups I'd (Bama) rather play ND so please don't take this as me hating.
