I wonder how much he is seriously considering them though. Last I heard it was Miami, Tennessee, and WKU. Miami and Tennessee seem like the only logical choices if he wants to play at the next level.

Grades are a big issue here. There was obviously a reason that UF admissions did not clear him.

Hope he can get into Tennessee but Florida and they have the same admission standards. Miami is usually tougher. This kid's a Hill topper unless he's mature enough to go prep a semester and then play big time CFB. I can NOT IMAGINE choosing WKU over just a semester at Hargrave and then playing SEC ball.

I definitely agree with what you're saying. WKU would set him back way more than it would help.

His twitter name is "knoxvillebound" and he said he wanted to play in the SEC. Obviously it sounds like UT is the school he wants to go to but I guess it all hinges on his grades.

Wilkins is about as good as gone. All Auburn. Got a good one.
Ryan just put a pretty good update on our home board saying that Phillips was 70-75 percent sure he'd shut it down and choose Tennessee. So there's that.

I was really disappointed we couldn't get this kid into UF.
I hope he lands on his feet. I hate to see him to to Tenn or Miami but I would hate it more to see him waste away at WKU.
