Never heard of the kid but I'm assuming that if Saban took a commitment from him that he's decent enough. Yeah never heard of him before though just as you so don't take it as a slight.

solid player..just off the radar but his recruitment was about the pick up. UT,UF and Aub visited over the last week or so. Reminds me of Dante Phillips last cycle. Was hoping UF could swing him. Good p/u imo.

Yeah. Michigan looked good for Poggi early but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore unfortunately.

No UF offer yet, but he was asked to come camp. Good looking player with lots of upside. DT rankings, like OL rankings, are a crap shoot, especially when you're talking the difference in high three stars compared to four stars..
It's about size, frame, athletic ability and upside. Lots of guys are underrated because they're raw and haven't gotten good coaching yet. While other higher rated guys have better technique, but less upside or are closer to being fully developed already. This one will obviously get good coaching and development at Bama. Main thing I'm looking at in a DT or OL is size, frame, and motor. The rest can be coached.
