Darius Paige's move to Foley smells very very very fishy

    I know nick saban and he told me personally that he arranges for all recruits to be paid.

  • I can't believe a Bama fan hasn't posted this yet over here. I hate to let facts get in the way of the Barner's fairy tales. Let me quote Tim Watts:

    " Coach Watson does a great job of staying on his players academically and developing for college. Paige wasn't getting a lot of help where he was at."

    "One of the coaches is a huge LSU fan who wanted kid to go there. He's posted all over some of the message boards. School had him in awful shape academically. Just good enough to be eligible to play during the season then afterward didn't matter."

  • If you do not believe me how about asking anyone in west Georgia high school athletics about Flowers going back to the early 90's to today. I am pretty secure in what I know about Flowers. And since you know the AU coaching staff so well ask them how long they have been on first name basis with Flowers ala Luper and Trooper. Again I am not saying anything about Foster but his mentor smells like a dead fish baking in the sun for a couple of days.

  • You barners need to worry about your own team. This claim is outlandish. The Foster situation is like 5 times more fishy than the Paige ordeal and I could really care less if the whole Foster deal is 100% clean or not. We are going to own you on the football field anyway. I like Paige and I'm sure Saban does too, but I doubt he is so amazing that our program would risk cheating. Handle your own business and spend more time worrying about what it feels like to lose 42-14 again. RTR!!! *****also props to the uga poster who understands that the barn nation is delusional.

    Paige told his coach we asked him to transfer, and get into a program (block vs. periods vs. available classes) so he could be eligible. Nothing is wrong with that, from what I have read. We are the ones offering him a free education, and if he wants in then he better be academically eligible. See Brandon Hill
