In Speight we got a guy that puts in a lot of work with Steve Clarkson, is very accurate, and is going to be relatively polished for a Frosh coming in. Works out for both schools.

Yeah, we got our raw talent with a cannon in 2013. Shane definitely had the best arm in the 2013 class, so I have no problem taking a more polished prospect in 2014. Neither one will see the field as a starter until 2015 though...

Yeah, once our coaches decided Speight was their guy, we kinda gift-wrapped Cornwell to you. It would've been a hell of a fight between us if our coaches decided they wanted Cornwell.
Hope he does well though, he's a good QB and seems like a kid with a good head on his shoulders.

and to think the entire time i just thought it was because he watched last years game in Dallas.

you shoudnt put to much hope in A&M doing the deed.
the last time Bama slipped up & let someone sneak out of town with a W when they shouldnt have, the team couldnt find the midfield stripe in the following encounter.
Saban will have all summer to prep for Johnny before putting in a game plan for the opener vs VT. do yourself a favor a lay the points Vegas puts on this years tilt as it will be a double digit affair in 13'.

Agree on 1, 2 I think is Bateman. Granted they don't have a semester under them but it sounds like Bateman has gotten more reps from the freshman.
A lot can change from now until next year though
