It's always nice to know that there are people that can act like spoiled children and speak like that in a professional setting and still keep their job. Wish I had that luxury.

David Stern is insufferable. And someone might explain to him that the analogous question would've been "do you beat your wife?". Rome's question assumed nothing and wasn't "loaded" in any way whatsoever.

Not defending Stern's comments. He is a goober for sure. This is more about Rome to me. Translation of the question. Hey commisioner, many fans think you are a lying cheat so I am asking for them are you a lying cheat?

In response to you and sf2k4, Stern should have just not dignified that with an answer, rather than say what he did. Some of the posters on tBB get more upset about their coach being accused of cheating. I imagine it gets annoying being asked the same stupid questions by people who should know better than to ask them. Saban cusses at reporters for asking about oversigning as an example we are all familiar with.

Exactly... it was a fair question, something that many of the fans of the NBA talk about all the time. He could have answered it like he did later on in the segment, without acting like a 12 year old biotch.
