You seriously get a hard time in Columbus? I've only seen the usual retarded ball busting, never seen anything nasty(I'm sure its happened though). I've been to road games a number of places including AA, and as long as you're sober normally not a problem other than retarded heckling.

I've never been, but many family members, close friends of mine and others have said they've experienced violent, gang up behavior. Hell my step dad was hit with a full beer can, and he was in his late 40's, completely sober, and not talking trash at all. Every fanbase has their bad apples, but I've never heard a good story from a Michigan fan visiting Columbus.

I've been to The Game twice in Columbus and once in Ann Arbor and both places seemed the same to me. If you want to see a game in Columbus I'd go for it. When I'm on the road I just keep my head down on the way in and out, and haven't seen much of a problem. Sorry to hear your peeps had problems, I've sat next to UM fans at games and nobody gave them much crap.
Gotta say though, at The Game in 2006 a couple of students walked into the student section and sat down wearing Wolverine Uni's. The entire student section was screaming at them(Like 20,000 people). There was a row of 10 girls in the row behind them(with uniforms painted on) standing on the bleachers giving them the business. Funny as hell, it's like the world stopped and the entire stadium was like WTF were they thinking walking into the student section like that.
