The issue at hand is that the south bend tribune said they met after the stanford game in 09 and that his dad is quoted as saying they met in hawaii multiple times.
Now did manti lie about how they met at that stanford game cuz he was embarrassed that he met a girl online? And did he then lie and tell his dad that they met multiple times in hawaii?
That part is sort of plausible if true, but thats where the discrepancy begins
