You need to get boiling seasoning, whatever is available. Make sure it's got a kick to it. Fill your pot with water, add seasoning, let water get to boil, when water is boiling put in halved onions, garlic, sausage, mushrooms, red potatoes, and celery. Let water boil for a hour(no less). Put shrimp in, let boil for 5 mins, turn off fire and cool pot by hosing with cold water for 20 mins, let soak until they have sunk usually and extra 20 mins. Then they are finished

Depends on the amount you cooking, start small you can always add more. You put water in a big pot with the peeled shrimp, sliced okra, sausage, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Add any and all spices you want in it. After roux is cooked put in pot, make sure you have enough roux to change the water. Cook very slow and when shrimp is done than it's finished. Let cool down on stove before you put in fridge, it will spoil.
