I am a Seinfeld expert. They're referring to this on the board I'm talking about:
"It's an interesting story, but I hope Deadspin is not rushing to judgment here. I work as an Academic Advisor for a University. Over the last few years, I've worked directly with a lot of Polynesian and Pacific Islander students. Its very common for these students to use multiple names, and different spellings of their names from one day to the next. I have yet to figure out the significance of so many confusing names, but its not unusual. Its a pretty common occurrence. They often have various translations for their names and seem to use them based on how they feel at that exact moment.
I think Deadspin probably didn't look hard enough."

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

From ND:
On Dec. 26, Notre Dame coaches were informed by Manti Te’o and his parents that Manti had been the victim of what appears to be a hoax in which someone using the fictitious name Lennay Kekua apparently ingratiated herself with Manti and then conspired with others to lead him to believe she had tragically died of leukemia. The University immediately initiated an investigation to assist Manti and his family in discovering the motive for and nature of this hoax. While the proper authorities will continue to investigate this troubling matter, this appears to be, at a minimum, a sad and very cruel deception to entertain its perpetrators.
