  • Just finished the Sopranos and thought I would give it a try on HBO GO. I'm almost through with the second episode and thinking about turning it off because of Calamity Jane. Her character is awful and makes the show hard to watch thus far.

Talk me into or out of finishing the series TIA.

You have to finish at least through the second season. Shit goes ape on that show. You would be foolish not to watch it.

Yeah, there is a lot to like about this show. I like the concept/setting and there are a lot of good actors in Ian McShane, Powers Boothe, and Timothy Olyphant.

Out of curiosity, what made you stop? Just not feeling it?

    1) Realized I wasn't enjoying it and didn't want to spend another 15 or so hours (however many episodes were left in series) on it.

    2) There was no finale. There was a final episode but that wasn't the finale.

    3) Burnt out on watching too many TV shows in a row lightning quick. Wanted to watch more films.

  • Swearigan's(Ian McShane) monologues really make that show, it's a great show, but like all HBO shows, it starts a little slow, the middle is great, and then the last season is a total letdown.

  • Stopped watching mid second season. I happened to move across the country and was just busy with other stuff. Got caught up in whatever shows were on tv at the time and forgot about it. Been thinking about starting it up again. Hows the third season?

Looks like I'm in the same boat with a few others. I can't remember when, but I believe I made it further through season 2, but never picked it up again. Pretty sure the story line was fairly different than season one or headed that way.
