Dear Gatorade,

It's advertised as a sports drink for athletes, and it does a great job at preparing and replenishing athletes during/after exercise. Nitpicking by saying it's bad for regular people is just stupid.

    It doesn't though

    Its just a drink

There is no real evidence that is helps you with fatigue

They just say it does and morons gobble it up as fact

Add Jordan to commercial and you get an epic troll on american stupidity

It used to have HFCS or high fructose corn syrup in it until they got bitched at and threatened with lawsuits

This is why you see all the propel and " healthier for you " knockoffs like G2 and whatever other bullshit they came out with since

If Gatorade is so good for you and replenishes things your body needs.... Then why make a propel that just has less shit in it ? Makes no sense

Gatorade is false advertising at its finest, yet some how the Gators get away with it

They even stole the idea, but that is FSU's fault imo

Once again.. The electrolytes and carbs can help a good deal if you are training hard.

Would you like to dispute this?

You realize there are hundreds of links that say how Gatorade works and does what it's supposed to right? Posting one dissenting opinion isn't changing anyones mind.

Btw, I'm in training now and I'm drinking water constantly, but Gatorade does the job too.

Have you ever been to the grocery store???

I still don't understand why they only sell it in those small pouches. The only thing I can think of is that the pouches are like a bone in a steak, and they add flavor.

Yes.. I've pondered that question for a long time myself. They need to make 20 oz bottles of it.. unless as you've said the pouch is essential for flavor. shrug

FWIW someone once told me that Capri Sun is the tits as a mixer and makes a tasty boat drink. Not usually my cup of tea but if it gives me an excuse to buy some I'll totally do it. Can anyone confirm?

  • I like Gatorade and don't give a damn if it works or not. I like it. It tastes good to me, and has less sugar than soda. Less carbs as well.

I like it. Don't care if you so. How is that for being a man? Who cares if someone likes something? Is it really worth arguing about ? I also like beer and its horrible for you over time.
