Dear Michigan fans (A letter from a Bama Fan)

I am pulling for you guys to dismantle them.

Y'all must not have as strong of a rivalry as you keep telling us. Personally, I hope OSU goes 0-12 every year.

    Dear Michigan fans,

You are hereby, cordially invited to Dallas this September 1st to witness the beatdown of a lifetime at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

I apologize in advance for how hard we hit and I cannot guarantee the safety of Denard Robinson as he will be a marked man and shown to you all that he is not an elite player but merely just another player who will fall short of expectations as the Tide runs over you.

I apologize for Eddie Lacy, as he will have over 150 yards and 2 TDs, Jalston Fowler and our new friend TJ Yeldon. They will repeatedly gash your run defense and make you question whether you need a new DL coach. That is not our intention.

I apologize for our offensive lineman as they will continually knock the hell out of your pathetic sorry excuse of a defensive line.

I fully expect our backups to be in by the 4th quarter and maybe then but probably not, you will finally score a TD.

If we score less than 30 I will be disappointed and if you score more than 10 I will be surprised. This is the type of beatdown you will receive.

We may be nice and not quite give you the lashing we gave your little brother in 2010 but be reminded this game will hurt as you will find out that you are not "back". You are merely a good team in a good conference. Not elite.

Many of you will respond to this with replies of protest, anger and even acceptance. Just know that life will go on and wounds will heal eventually, at least the physical ones. Emotionally, this may screw up your team for life and again, I apologize.

Now you ask, Ichabod how are you so cocky and arrogant about this game? And the answer is simple and it explains why we are elite and you are a simple peasant in this game of College Football. It's because of Nick Mother F'n Saban. He is the Alpha and Omega of this game, beginning and the end. He shoots lasers out of his eyes and farts rainbows. He once winked at a player and the player exploded. Processed.

Enjoy being undefeated for the next 20 days and I wish you well in your quest for a Big 10 championship.

    Signed,

    Ichabod

You're going to beat a bunch of Rich Rod recruits. So what?

I can understand that psyche, but I want us to go 14-0 and them to go 12-1.

That way our rivalry continues to be a gateway to the national title.

SEC won't lose any of the opening non-conference games.

The only close one might be Tennessee and NCSU. Maybe.

Alabama,LSU, and Auburn are all going to demolish Michigan,Washington, and Clemson respectively.

    cheers

Personally, when a fanbase makes me start to hate them, I'd root for Aubun to beat them. I think Major is thinking the same thing.

Not the point and that doesn't change the truth in my statements

You should have rolled VT in a game neither belonged in

You looked like ass for much of that game and had a lot of things go your way

I like Michigan but you ain't shit right now

Hoke is buliding something special and i understand you fans excitement, but ready for Bama ? Ha ha ha, no!

I agree with the last part of this. A lot of us Michigan fans are optimistic about the program right now and should be but for this year and next we're still playing with a bunch of Rich Rod recruits. Michigan will still contend in the conference and probably even win it but we're not competing with the SEC yet. Its one game and it certainly could happen but probably won't. The fact that the OP had to go on that huge rant about it shows he's a douchebag and I can't wait to troll the hell out of Bama on every loss they have this year.

Hopefully the field isn't crowned. That won't count either. Also keep in mind this is bascially a home game for Bama, so it doesn't count.

These Freshmen and Sophmores held Cameron Newton in check for 2 quarters.

Robinson is poop compared to Cam.

Alabama is bigger, faster, and stronger than any team you will see all year... you will be severely disappointed.

Hahaha I'm not even an Michigan fan so chill out. Haha held in check for 2 quarters but then what happened after halftime?? You wanna make a little wager that bama gets beat??

You are in for a RUDE awakening.

Eh, we've been here before. We were told we had no chance against the Tide in the 2000 Orange Bowl. A slow, stodgy B10 team like Michigan just couldn't match up with superior SEC talent. Tom Brady had other ideas that day. Final score: Michigan 35, Alabama 34. Similarly, in the 2008 Capital One Bowl, we were double digit underdogs to the defending national champion Gators. SEC speed, SEC speed ... plus they had Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and super mega deathstar weapon Percy Harvin. And they were coached by the great one ... Urban Meyer. Final score: Michigan 41, Florida 35.

We own the SEC. We are 13-5-1* all time against the SEC, nearly all in bowl games (which means they were the "good" SEC teams not Kentucky). Our kryptonite has always been Southern Cal. If we were playing USC in Dallas, I honestly would be concerned. But Bama? Been there, spanked that.

    * I left out A&M and Mizzou. That just seemed like piling on.

Respect that, but most of us aren't expecting a win.

However these idiots saying it's going to be a blowout, are either extremely biased or know nothing..

    I'm predicting Bama 24-14 Michigan

I know much and I know this. Alabama will win by 3 TD's or more. Mark it down.

    2009:#1 defense
    2010 (lost a bunch of guys):#5 defense

By the way TJ Yeldon is better than Trent Richardson if he was given the chance.

We won't need TR anyways because AJ has progressed a la GMAC in his second year so we will have a more balanced, successful offense than last year a la 2009-2010 transition.
