    How am I trolling? I didn't violate any rules. I simply disagree with the idea and am calling out Nigel because I don't even think it is a sincere idea. When did that become trolling?

    And it would still be easy as heck to change your IP address so that you can keep creating new usernames (if you get the first one free of course) and it will solve nothing.

    Maybe if you get banned 5 or more times, then you start charging, but anything before is just restricting traffic. For team boards, I can get behind the idea that you have to request permission to post on the (team)board after you create your name and that will reduce a lot of trolls and still preserves the free nature of message boards.

Why shouldn't we all discuss it? Nigel isn't having someone post over here to ask about his banning or complain about it. Why can't an idea that could improve the network be discussed openly?

    More posters = more content = better content = more controversy = more trolls = more spam = more hours of entertainment = more repeat visitors = more advertising $$$ = better website infrastructure = better reporting = better product overall

    tBB mods can do whatever they want; it's their board to moderate. I just made a suggestion to try and keep this thread on track.
