Dear obama

  • Thanks for turning down the pipeline. It's really great to know a million exta jobs and cheaper gas won't be available now. Way to go moron.

  • A million jobs huh? Try 20,000 according to the oil company and a generous estimate of 250,000 by the US chamber of commerce. But you were close.

  • It would also only. Bring less than a million new barrels of oil per day to the US. The US uses over 20 million barrels per day. This would not lower gas prices. Oil prices are set on the world market. It's all supply and demand. If more oil is put on the market, production will be slowed in other countries to keep supply down and prices up.

  • I think it wasn't turned down completely as much as it was sent back for a different plan to make sure we don't ruin people's drinking water. but i'm sure you'll blame that on him too. Because he let it happen. Cheaper gas...laughable... it wouldn't effect the market and it would take years to even start flowing. You just want a reason to be a moron USMCAG.

  • He turned it down because he has nothing to gain from it. If he can't get his hands on some unearned money then it won't pass.

Don't try to reason with them, they lack the ability to think independently and prefer to let Fox do that for them.

I don't have to look hard to find the reasons that obama is an obamanation. Apoloizing to Iran is another one.

I haven't watched fox news since.... I don't know if I have ever watched Fox news. However, to act like adding 250k jobs is insignificant is a joke. I mean come on... we would be getting 5% of our oil from our friends to the North instead of relying on the most unstable/anti-western area in the World. Where is the downside???

Do you read anything? This country would be a disaster if you were in charge.

  • Let's face it, we live in a country were no matter what the other guy does he's wrong for doing it and what he doesn't do he's wrong for not doing it. People take a shread of truth and run with it.... The everyone should do what they want to do and keep the government out it until you do something I don't like GOP is just the best at it. The government shouldn't run our lives except if you don't follow their religious rules.

Right. Also, domestic supply and demand has little effect, if any at all on the price of gas. As a matter of fact, we're oversupplied at the refineries in Cushing, Oklahoma. Rising gas prices are due to three primary reasons...continued industrialization of China, India, and Brazil, a weak dollar (inflation) and supply disruptions from OPEC countries. That Keystone XL deal wouldn't have done a damn thing.

I remember 10 years ago we were told drilling in ANWR was useless because it would take 10 years to have an impact. Thanks for that.

Obama turned down the pipeline because he wanted to big dollars from the Sierra Club donors. If you believe that A) this was going to ruin drinking water or B) the reason for killing it was anything but cynical politics then I've got a bridge to sell you.

I'm sure you're right on one point though: It was "sent back for a new plan" that will 99.998% resemble the old plan, but happen right after the election.

Yeah- why would we want clean drinking water?

    ErnieMcCracken

  • Im sure if Bush was the one to turn down the oil, dems would call him an idiot. But since its Obamanation, they support everything this moran does. Now, im not so much of a republican homer to say bush was doing a great job, but I know this current president if a self promoting, arrogant, no nothing. His only interest in every situation is HIS own benifit, not the good of america. Just the fact that those two soldiers got their heads blown off for accidently burnt those quoran books and then that shlub of a president had the audacity to apolgize to the muslim people makes me sick. We need a president with a sack of balls on him. If another 9/11 happens, he'll probably say we deserved it and apologize to the muslims again. What a douch

  • The pipeline is a no brainer...more jobs, no initial cost to the Feds, and more tax revenues later.
