The pipeline is a no brainer...more jobs, no initial cost to the Feds, and more tax revenues later.

It's not if you choose not to think like a drug addict. Mmmm give me my oil fix, and wait until your are on your death bed to be proactive.

  • hard to know what is the right move in this case but wow do we need the jobs , revenue and the oil

Exactly. 250k people suddenly get jobs and there is a reduction on the reliance arab nation oil. I don't care what party supports this, it's a no-brainer.

  • Obama staying true to being the best welfare president in the history of man, here was a chance to create 250K new tax payers and keep North American oil in North America..... Instead the oil is now going to be shipped to China to be refined and price will be jacked up then sent back to North America, which supports China's economy and continues to allow them to bend us over the barrel literally.

Yet this guy will allow the federal government to give billions in free money to "green energy" companies when he first got into office that have since shut down.

Thanks for turning down the pipeline. It's really great to know a million exta jobs and cheaper gas won't be available now. Way to go moron.

Would have had no effect on gas prices and not nearly as many jobs. Also, if you want to blame somebody blame Nebraska. They're the one at an impasse. Deservedly so if you see the problem:running the water table that feeds your economic lifeblood.

  • Obama WANTS gas prices higher to force his green energy policies into play. He's said it himself. Under his Cap and Trade he wanted so badly, he himself said electricity rates "would necessarily skyrocket." He doesn't give a damn about the folks and how much we pay for energy, why should he care for gas? For the record, I wasn't happy with Bush either.
