The timing of his decision, and the factors that would favor the Trojans, would point in that apparent direction.
Have to like the fit of Browne in that pro-style system, if it materializes.

Good luck to the young man.
Seems like scholarship limitations are having a negligible effect on USC's ability to attract top-notch talent.

Distance is not an overwhelming factor for a lot of west coast kids...his family has been able to take him to visit universities of interest on their own dime. It is out there that the combination of tradition/pro style offense/academics favor USC.

Well...I trust Lane. He was at SC when Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, JD Booty and Mark Sanchez were at USC...oh, and he recruited Matt Barkley to USC when Matt was in his sophomore year at Mater Dei. They all worked out well for USC.
So, I think Trojans will remain confident that our coaching staff knows what they're doing, Max was their #1 QB target.

You don't know that Morris wouldn't have been their #1 target if Shane didn't commit to UM so early. If he had waited, USC might have came calling.
