Decision day for nation's No. 1 QB

You don't know that Morris wouldn't have been their #1 target if Shane didn't commit to UM so early. If he had waited, USC might have came calling.

Why are you guys always fishing for approval or compliments with Shane Morris?

What would stop USC from pushing for Shane if he was their #1 target?

NSD isn't for another 10 months!

If USC was interested, he would have known a long time ago.
The recuit they put all their effort into was Browne.

Im sure both programs are happy who they have.
Maybe they meet in the Rose Bowl someday!

Huh? I refuse to engage in a pissing contest with you or anyone over a QB, my posts were not about which QB was better..Morris may have more upside for your system, doesn't mean he is for ours.

I have never said that Shane Morris is not an excellent QB..he was just simply not our first choice, if he was, he would have been offered by USC, regardless of where or how long he has been committed elsewhere.

Come on, you're a Wolverine, you're not new to big time CFB recuiting.

Trojan fans heard about Max Browne as the #1 QB for a long time, by Scott Schrader - who has a clear insider tract to our program.

No disrespect to Morris, or other programs interested in him as the #1 QB, that was not my intent. Good luck, ultimately, all I care about is what my own coaches think of the recruits out there.

This. As extremely talented as he is, the fact that he has been unimpressive in a few camps has them doubting him a bit.

Dawson and Logan Tulley-Tillman both were offered by USC after they committed to Michigan, so not exactly seeing your point.

Don't love..we're all fans, I mainly wanted to point out that there was NO disrespect meant because someone else's guy was not ours.

Unimpressive in a few camps? Strike one. Michigan fans doubting him? Strike two.

Try the kid was picked by most analysts as finishing in the top 5 in the Elite 11 tryout in Dallas and didn't finish #1.

What did 247 analysts say in their Elite 11 article? Here, I'll help you out, since you are clearly retarded:

Shane Morris, De La Salle (Mich.) Collgate
The long-time Michigan commit looked the part of an elite quarterback even through fighting through some inconsistencies in terms of accuracy. He had arguably the best pair of feet at the event in drill work. As always, Morris impressed with his velocity, which was among the very best at the event.

    EXCERPT OF NOTICE:

While he didn't perform as well as he has at times in the past, we still feel like Morris is one of the top prospects in the 2013 class. From a physical tools standpoint, Morris was the best quarterback in the event.

Hmmm...from a physical tools standpoint best QB at the event. About 200 QB's at the event, and 247 said this kid is the most physically impressive. Just had a bit of an off day after TRAVELING 1,300 MILES to compete.

Oh and in case you didn't get the memo, here is what Gerry Hamilton, a 247 analyst who was at the Elite 11 and has sheen at least 4 times in person says about Shane:

Absolutely the real deal in terms of baseline skill set. The feet are +, but will improve his footwork a ton in the next few years. His arm strength has few peers. I like the arm action. He can move the arm quick, and can throw from different release points without taxing his body. He's fine from a physical standpoint as well IMO.

Definitely sounds like he sucks though, asswad.

Dawson and LTT both committed like less than a month ago.

Shane Morris has been committed for OVER a year, since he was a freaking sophomore in high school, and he's told many teams that have expressed interest in him to not even bother. I know one in EL for sure that has tried non-stop.

Of course you don't see that point. You are a god damn moron.

How does this change the fact that USC offered them after they committed, but have not offered Morris?

Morris didn't even receive an invite to the regional Elite 11 event http://www.annarbor.com/sports/um-football/michigan-football-qb-recruit-shane-morris-admittedly-struggles-at-elite-11-regional-in-dallas/. He struggled mightily and nobody had him among the top handful of performers at the Dallas event; if you want to hang your hat on that being an impressive performance then we have different expectations.

He is definitely really talented, no debate. He has all the tools. There is also no debating he hasn't been consistent at the recent camps and this is why he hasn't moved past Browne according to anybody's rankings.

I now expect you to resort to telling me to eat a dick(as you have several times) because you have no rebuttal.

Try and squeeze Cravens from them while you're at it. If they aren't looking, grab Stringfellow on your way out.

I know and if he ends up visiting for the Michigan spring game he'll probably commit, but if he visits USC again I'll get a little worried.

Once again, you are full of fail.

We are talking about ONE camp, the Elite 11 regional in Dallas. We ain't talking recent CAMPS homeslice. We are talking about ONE day where the kid struggled with his accuracy a little bit. Only two guys got invited to the Elite 11 by the entire camp. One the winner of the Elite 11 Golden Jacket- as selected by wait for it...TRENT DILFER. The other kid that got selected was also from Texas, Tyrone Swoopes, Texas commit. It's not as if a lot of people got invited. There were over 200 QB's there, only 2 got invites. How they pick them? I don't know. Pretty sure it's just Trent Dilfer's dumbass that throws darts on a board.

FYI, as for your stupid remark that nobody had Shane in their top 5 performers, well I suggest you get a subscription to Scout and Rivals. Brandon Huffman of Scout had Shane in his top 5 of performers at the event, as did Brian Perroni of Rivals.

    P.S. - Eat a dick.
