  • Overated?????

I think so. Good CB, but nothing spectacular. Definitely not a shutdown CB. A solid #2 CB.IMO. I dont think hes in the same class as Mo Claiborne, P Peterson, or even Joe Haden. Thoughts???? I also remember Jhonny Football abusing him.

  • I agree. Thought Dre was every bit of good.

You need to watch that game again. He is the best CB in CFB in 2012 and I do not recall Johnny Football abusing him. He held his coverage longer than what is normally required but JF's scrambling ability allowed his WR to get open. Not many of those completed to the man DM was covering. He will be the first CB taken in the draft.

Ist Rounders usually are. Guess that why you are you and not in the big time.

  • Milliner has been a shutdown corner all year, not to mention being a terrific tackler in run support. Op is either 1)trolling or 2)ignorant. #1 gets my vote.

Milliner getting "abused" by Johnny Foosball has been more overblown than the Mayan calendar. He got beat on one gall dern throw. SMH.

  • Millner played well this season and Lord knows the Saints need a guy like him.

Personally, I'm on the Jonathan Banks bandwagon but both are very good CB's.. I just think Banks will make a better pro.

I'm taking your Joe Morgan boom or bust pick, by the way.

Oh for real? Nice, I hope it works out for you man. If he does nothing, don't blame me! But give me credit if he scores of course ha

Dude is a future stud though, he should breakout next season for sure

  • I remember being called a homer before the season when I said Milliner was the best CB in the country. Who would have thought picking a a guy 6'2" who runs a 4.3 and is coached by Saban would have worked out? Just lucky I guess....

Nah man.. Didn't say he would be a bust.. I just think Banks will make a better pro for some reason.

Weedline, lets wait for the combine before I believe that. If he runs a 4'3'' and measures every bit of 6'2'', then I'll be highly impressed.. I don't care what you say, once I see it, I'll believe it but as of now.. I'm a Banks guy

  • I think Milliner will have a better combine than Banks will. I think Milliner had a better season, and QBs started to target Deion Belue a whole lot more down the stretch. I think Milliner will be a higher draft pick, but Banks will be a solid pick. tifwiw but many scouts had Milliner as the best CB at Alabama last year, and that included DreKirk and Menzie, but Banks seemed to be hurt off and on this season, because AJ threw on him all game.

Hate to rep a Bama guy but I love DM's family, he went to my high school, definitely not overrated.

Milliner isnt Patrick Peterson imo but he will likely be the first CB off the board in the 13' Draft.

as for the combine you may as well get ready....Milliner's a rangy 6-1ish corner with legit 4.35 speed.
his stock will soar after his wee-wee shorts work out at the combine. coffee

Bama abused banks. Went after him for a ton of big plays. He was toasted often.
