Tough to beat but possible to match. Some mock drafts have both Jenkins and Werner going in the 1st as well. I also think Carradine (top Juco DE from last year) will get drafted pretty high as well. That being said your right the LSU D ends are likely to go higher in draft than the FSU duo. We didn't lose anyone this past year at DT either...
In this 2013 mock draft has
Montgomery at 5
Mingo at 9
Werner at 12
Jenkins at 16

Jenkins and Werner have been mentioned in mock drafts in the first round.. it is really splitting hairs... all 4 DE do work.... our darkhorse and who I think could end up being a higher draft pick is Tank Carridine .... 3 possible DE to go in the top 3 rounds for FSU with Mario Edward Jr seeing time... FSU and LSU dlines are insane... DT is another good position for both, Anthony Johnson and Tim Jernigan are beastly

UGA lost a DE and a CB.
To the OP, I'd put either UGA or LSU at the top spot. A lot of the points against UGA last season were from turnovers and special teams failures. Not really indicative of the Defense.

Yeah good points FSU guys. It really does seem we are splitting hairs.. Rasco for us should breakout this year. He flashed some last year.

LSU is absolutely loaded on defense. DL and secondary should be really tough to deal with. If Mettenberger can open the field for the O, they will definitely be the team to beat.
I think Bama will be right there by the end of the year. Our front 7 will be hard to run on. The secondary is the biggest question mark with Barron being the toughest to replace. Sunseri knows the defense, but isn't even close to being as physically talented as MB. I really like the upside of Milliner, Fulton, and Belue at corner. I think the x-factor for us on D is Adrian Hubbard. If he can apply pressure like I think he will, our DB won't have to cover as long. I really like the potential Hubbard has. He was nearly unblockable at A day against our 1st OL, which is saying something.

Honestly, I wouldn't call any SEC schedule "pansy", but it isn't as difficult a row to hoe as it could have been. I hope you guys don't cry this much when we figure a way out to dodge both Bama and LSU again next year. Maybe convince the SEC office to foist both of them off on USC.
