Probably cuz Henson is out and he doesn't want to be in foul trouble.
Zeller averages 1.4 blocks a game FYI.
It's just a ridiculous stereo type, and if someone were to say something about black players like this they would be roasted.

Zeller gets most of his blocks from behind not going straight up with a player like an Anthony Davis who is not afraid to challenge a player straight up even if he gets dunked on. I have watched Zeller a lot over the years and he very rarely goes up to challenge a player coming at him.

You very rarely see a black forward or center try to take a charge. Hell look at Kendrick Perkins for example: He does not take charges, and pays for it some times by trying to go for the block.

I see black forwards and centers try and take charges all the time. Just look at black players with low block numbers.
