Don't get defensive, Bucknuts don't know how to do their own research. To them: bamaonline reports Poggi is on a visit = Poggi is automatically decommitting. Little do they know he is not on an OV.
People who are wondering why our decommit policy for those who take visits isn't applying. Let's go with the logical, real-life answer. Poggi talked to the coaches a few weeks ago and they told him it was perfectly fine to visit Bama with his father to see a friend. Poggi assured our coaches there's nothing to worry about and he is not taking an OV. This conversation actually happened.
Well, now he is visiting like he said he would. He is visiting for the same reason he told our coaches, to see a friend. Otherwise, he would not be in our class right now, or there would at least be smoke from our coaches side of things. Lastly, his dad is a high school coach at a well known program. He would not be stupid enough to deceive our coaches and burn bridges for players in the future.
But no, he will flip to Bama any minute now.
You boys sure do have your panties in a bunch.. maybe hoax will cry for Poggi too
I never thought of crying as a recruiting strategy... guess it works.. or was it b/c Hostess shut down this year??

If this was Meyer, you could say it was a recruiting strategy. After all, everything that guy does is to bolster his image. Does he win? Sure. But he's a narcissistic toolbag and there's no denying that.
However, we're talking about Hoke, who is as genuine a man as they come. Bash him for his lack of a headset all you want, but he's a great person and anyone who has met him will agree.
I want to hear from Green in some detail what he meant by "cry" because I can't imagine any coach in this world who would sob over a recruit the way people are making it out.
