    What are you talking about? Everyone knows you can toss a stick-thin speed demon in as your feature back, they're practically interchangeable!

    But really, I would imagine that the way it's being sold is that there was only one more spot for an offensive playmaker, given OSU's dire need to get more OLs and some LBs in this class.

    Don't worry. You always have Tavion Jacobs.

    That, and more importantly we have Ezekiel Elliot, who has been arguably the most impressive of any of the RB's this summer.

    Besides, the fact is that we don't need more bruising RB's after taking Dunn and Ball last season. Green would have been nice, but he was an unnecessary luxury with the limited scholarships.

  • I don't get his recruitment at all. I think he's a great RB but so many top teams are passing. Maybe it's off the field stuff we don't know about.

  • Green is probably the first obvious casualty of having reduced scholarships. Really liked him, but taking two RBs last year and another this year, he would have just been a luxury.

    Really hope we don't end up having to play against him for four years.

    Given the current backs on the roster and the two coming in this Fall, Ohio State really doesn't have room for a big back.

    The average weight for the backs we have now is around 235.

  • You Bucknuts are a trip. Last year when it looked like Dunn may go Blue, most of you were not caring because "We have Derrick Green in 2013" friends with Curtis, much better prospect, Blah Blah Blah. But now the kid is scraps? SMH

    Big RBs just don't have much success in his scheme. I just don't see him changing. His best RB products were Tim Tebow and Parcy Harvin, a QB and a WR. And it worked. I think the Miller kid you have at QB is a perfect fit for what he wants to do and will probably handle some of the "power" running.
