exhibit A: what does the phrase "something along the lines of.." mean?
exhibit B: what is the different between "exact quote" and "quote where I said exactly that" ?

"Exhibit" A, B, etc is something that you submit into evidence. It is not an argument that you make. If you're going to try to be cute and use courtroom jargon, use it correctly.
And C_wood told you to find the exact quote. You found a quote that was similar, but NOT the exact quote. It's actually very simple. He did say something along the lines of that, but that was not the bet.

He said "I'll paypal you $1000 if you find that exact quote." (THAT EXACT QUOTE. Meaning, the quote that you just quoted.)
