  • I heard that the guy who bet Devidee isn't even on the Blue Board and thus, the bet would've been pointless if Devidee won it. However, he will honor his word, despite the fact that the other bettor seems to be a first class flake. I think he should have to show his face on tBB in order for Devidee to have to serve the ban. I won't take the word of another Meatchicken fan who, for all we know, is pretending to act on his behalf.

    Most UM fans are no longer on the BB...the petition thread went all wrong for them and they've since gone into hiding....

    Which is precisely why the bet should be null and void. That cat was not going to be on tBB regardless of whether or not he won or lost the bet. He literally had nothing to lose. On the other hand, tBB is a place where Devidee is well respected (and doesn't mind paying his $10 a month to hang, you know, in addition to Bucknuts). The whole situation smells like Ann Arbor, IYAM.

    I have a pretty good idea, but never got a straight answer about his temporary ban.

    Allowing mods who have personal issues with posters to unneccesarily ban them, even for short times, will cause people to post less or simply leave.

    When the bet was made the Michigan had no idea tBB was going turn into a VIP only board. I honestly don't even know why that happened.

    Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be long til dev creates an alias to post under.

    I know only what I was told by the people who were willing to give me info. You are welcome to share what you feel is the real reason he was banned any time you like.

    And Butte is not the only poster who felt he was singled out by a mod who, for whatever reason, had an axe to grind.

    Full disclosure: I have a free lifetime membership to Bucknuts / tBB.

    When we were in Vegas Noah bet me that I wouldn't strip naked and swim the full length of the Bellagio fountain pool.

    Apparently I don't lose every drunken, idiotic bet I make.

    Is neoavatara (won the bet) going to pay for premium like he said he would? Otherwise, that would be a welch and would free Dev of his e obligation.

    Butte got banned for his Chic-fila disobedience and hasn't returned.

    When tBB went VIP, it was made very clear that any user who posted and did not have VIP could make their desire known and still be allowed to post. Therefore this reasoning is lazy.

    I can only state what I have read. It could be that Neo was away from the board when the transfer happened and missed it. He still posts on the Michigan board so if Noah wants he can grant him access to tBB. Hell, maybe he is just waiting for dev to leave to start posting again.
