If they didn't they would have lost Trent. A lot, yes, but probably worth it.
Blackmon won't help out the Browns with nobody else there.

Obviously Minnesota told them they were going to trade with someone else that wanted Richardson. Minnesota could look freakin BRILLIANT within the hour. They should try and pull it off again and move down one more spot and get another 4 and 6. They could still get either Kalil or Claiborne. Im hoping Kalil for Ponder's sake.

Agreed. This is worse than the Eagles trading the 5th best corner in the league for a 7th round pick.

I think it's ok because there's good WRs besides Blackmon. There isn't another #1 RB in the draft besides TR and the Browns need both positions filled.
They keep their other 1 and 2. Someone said they had 2 fours as well? They still have a ton of picks.

I think they were stuck on TR and the Bucs were going to get him if they didn't. The Browns have pick 22 and 37 to pick a good WR and they needed him playing the defenses that they have to instead of playing like the Packers and Colts did. Sorry guys but McCoy is not Manning, Favre or Rodgers.
