Looking at Alabama's games versus top 25 teams in AP Poll

Michigan - #21 ranked team. Didn't have starting RB. Extremely one-dimensional.
LSU - #9 ranked team. Barely won on last drive.
Texas A&M - #10 ranked team. Lost to them, and the defense all but engraved Manziel's Heisman for him.

Frankly, this isn't quite the juggernaut, could-beat-a-NFL-team that it was made out to be.

Of course, you could say the same about UGA, but no one is saying that UGA is a killer team.

I think UGA can beat Bama, but not because UGA is a great team, but more so because Alabama isn't one either.

Michigan - Wouldn't have beat us if they had our RB's

LSU - We had 2 TO's....1 at the 7 yrd line that would have put us up 2 TD's. LSU played a near perfect game. No TO's and Mettenburg had his best game of the yr.....and they still lost.

A&M - We had 3 TO's...created none and lost on a pick on 4th and goal.

Could beat an NFL team - That was the damn meadia and Spurrier playin his games. And maybe a few dumbass Bama fans talking stupid. The media started that shit.

I too think UGA could very easily beat Bama. Our secondary is certainly our weak spot and Murray can exploit that as well as anybody....But if we don't turn the ball over your a fool if you don;t think we can't grind this game out on the ground. Other than Florida who has UGA beaten....sure maybe we haven't played a really tough schedule but UGA damn sure hasn't. Congrats on the UF win...They are damn good team, but UGA will have to beat another damn good team to get to Notre Dame. If you do beat us, congrats on that too....your gonna earn it though.

There is a reason why some coaches keep their players away from the media. I guess those coaches don't want their players "steered" into making dumb comments or inciting a team that you are hoping to beat.
