Whys that? Other than one season, 7 wins or less has been the norm for the last 5 seasons (2008). I guess we can throw in the victories over those tough Northwestern (OT) and Virginia teams to get to 8 wins in 2 of those seasons.
2 seasons no bowl, 2 bowl wins and a NC the last 5 years.
5,8,8 14, and 3 wins last 5 years. 38/5 = 7.6
I dont think my statement is that foolish at all.

It's foolish because no Auburn fan in the past 30 years has ever been satisfied with 8 wins. Congrats on being able to do math, but that doesn't change the fact that Auburn fans were hype for a national championship, not eight win seasons. Don't act like we are MSU because of one season. We own them and its not even worth bragging about. If we're gonna start using that criteria and pick and chose in history what games matter, every team is gonna be ass. It's all cyclical, and I'll be happy to chill until our turn comes back around. It's called having perspective.
