It's honestly a mystery. There's guys better than Dieter, but Dieter could contribute anywhere. You would think he'd have several Big Ten and ACC offers, but he doesn't. He'll go to SMU and be a great player for them.

His stats are drastically overstated. The game in which he had the national record his coach was targeting him on basically every play in the 4th quarter while up 30+ points. Even the scouts that were at the game were tweeting that it was a bit much.
Also I have heard numerous times that he has a bad attitude. No idea if that is accurate or not though.

As far as offers go, I think coaches question how explosive Dieter is. What I see is a big strong kid that runs good routes and makes people miss. He's run 4.6 electronic. He was a stud at national 7-on-7 events against top-notch competition. Why places like Boston College, Duke, Illinois, Purdue, Connecticut haven't offered, I can't say.
