I'd respect the NBA more if they'd just get rid of the traveling and carrying rules. Why even have them anymore? I haven't seen Lebron drive with less than 4 steps all season.

Every single game I have watched this year (and I watched a ton of games), the refs pissed me off EVERY TIME... It's so much easier when it's not your team bc you know both teams get terrible calls against them.

Yep, and if you're not Lebron James or some other big name, the rules are different.

The worst was the Wizards series a couple years ago, he was taking 4 steps and hitting game winners

If anybody hasn't figured out yet the NBA is totally fixed I don't know what to tell you, they lose money every year pretty much and can't afford to not try and set things up to where they would make the most money

The NBA is such bullchit, can't believe people actually enjoy it these days

They also have serious problems coming up in the pending lockout, I hope the NBA dies and takes the WNBA with it

My problem is that the refs err on the wrong side IMO. A guy can get tapped and get the foul call, but then on the other end of the floor, guy gets tackled, no whistle. That seems backwards to me.

I know, I really don't understand how anybody cares or can stomach it

Its not entertaining like it used to be, I won't even turn it on to see the score and its not anger towards any player really... its just that awful to watch for me.

I'd rather play monopoly by myself

Hardest sport to officiate. So many bang bang plays, unlike other sports where most calls have time to be anticipated. Also in other sports the whistle doesn't determine a call. So in football and baseball a ref can see a play then think about what happened before he makes decision.

Another thing, how many times a game do u say man that was a great call. A lot like offensive lineman. If ur noticed its not a good thing.

Now after all that, I'm a Hs basketball coach and I often loose my temper and usually regret it when it comes to refs.

The "bang bang" calls are difficult to call. So i usually dont bitch about those.

But what stopped me from watching alot of NBA basketball this season, is when the refs blow the "late whistle" cuz the guy missed the shot. The whistles where you can obviously tell- that if the short shot or layup would have went into the basket- the whistle would have never blown. But since the 2pt basket didnt fall- the refs decide FT's are needed. THOSE are the calls that made me stop watching the NBA so much. If its a foul, it's a foul! Call it! If it's not a foul, then dont call it cuz the guy missed a layup.
