Do you prefer a really good TV series or a great Movie ?

Im going with TV series no doubt, Movies are great when they are great but how can 2 hours touch something like the Sopranos or the Wire which is over 40 hours of greatness ?

TV and it's not even close for me. Getting to be excited every week for a new episode and then waiting a few months for the epic cliffhanger to unfold is awesome. Years of pleasure with the right show.

Depends. A great movie is better than a basic cable show. Shows on HBO or Showtime that don't have commercials though, I'll take those every time.
Other than Game of Thrones there isn't much out there right now though IMO.
Mad Men blows.

Agreed I haven't been to a movie I loved in a pretty long time. I am a bit of a movie snob but still, last movie I was actually entertained by in theaters was Fast Five. It blew but was just funny as hell how corny it was.
Looking forward to Dark Knight Rises in July.
I have heard good things about Hunger Games, but still a wait and see if I will attend it.

i used to say movies but TV has come so far today compared to even as few as 5 years ago. All networks are developing really in depth shows that movies cannot compete with. especially when piled up and watched in sequence

This. I feel like over the past few years a lot of TV shows have been more creative than films.
