It has been called Christmas for MANY generations, so for people to suddenly sit on their politically correct balls and say "Happy Holidays" because they don't want to offend some pseudo person who can't say if or what they believe in is pretty laughable. I actually correct people if they tell me Happy Holidays. I just ask them if they mean "Merry Christmas"? Usually, they smile and say, "yeah, well, you know we aren't allowed to say..." Then I walk away after wishing them a Merry Christmas. I am not disrespectful towards them, but I think they understand.
When you get to a point where you can't genuinely wish someone Merry Christmas, you've lost part of your identity as a person. It's sad for people to go around trying to appease others at their expense. Be who you are, for goodness sake.
