    Hated it

I wouldn't say I hated it but I never understood all the praise that it got either.

  • Probably not a very popular choice here, but Michael Moore's "Roger & Me" is wonderful (and completely heartbreaking). It's about the decision of GM CEO Roger Smith to close several plants in Flint, Michigan. Thirty thousand people lost their jobs and it destroyed the city.

Good Pick. I really don't like Michael Moore but that was a good documentary.

It was amazing. I watched it in a women's studies class I took, and it still affects me.

It was his downfall as a filmmaker imo

That was his home town and yeah he killed it but it brought him unwarranted fame ( he was close to that situation so he had a unique view and nailed it, outside of that he is just some fat dude from michigan )

After that he had the confidence to attack america and pretty much blew it, now he is hated by most and if im not mistaken his last few films have been bombs, especially in america

  • Vice Magazine has a Youtube channel with a bunch of mini documentaries that are pretty cool. Most of them bring you into places around the world you can't get into as a regular tourist.

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

I have no problem with attacking some of the things that he argues against about America, especially the one about the fall of the economy, I just don't like that he takes such a leftist approach to his views and makes no effort to look at both sides of the argument. He's just way to Republicans are the devil and Democrats are the savior and all that is righteous.

I think both parties are fvcking idiots and you would think someone that claims to be a genius and tells people that constantly on film would see that.

Oh yeah, im just saying that movie put him on the map unjustly

He really isn't a great documentarian imo, he just had a unique view and knowledge of that story cause it was his home town so it made the documentary easy on him

And the fame and credit he got from it turned him into an attack you type of filmmaker and he wasn't very good at that from then on

Jmo though, but yeah roger and me is good... Its what made him famous
