Does Teo become most decorated CFB player ever??

  • As far as awards go? Saw that Woodson currently has the title with 5 major awards. Teo is the clear leader for all the remaining awards, not named the Heisman. Which would move him past Woodson's Heisman year. I thought Teo had no shot at the Heisman, but my opinion has started to sway with everything I've seen the last week. For all those questioning if he deserves all the praise and awards, I think all the former coaches and players that decide these awards clearly see his value and are speaking loudly that there's more than just personal stats that go into these awards. Leadership, making teammates better, and desire to win plays a big factor on ones legacy..I'll have no gripes if Johnny Football wins, same goes for Manti. The only thing I care about and I'm sure Manti feels the same is bringing the Crystal home where it belongs..

I remember Kuechly got a bunch last year. Not sure of the total but it was impressive.

Really can't envision UA allowing him to be the one to bring the crystal to Tuscaloosa. I guess it wouldn't be too far out of the way from Miami to South Bend.

    Where is he now?

Te'o will have a long and likely HOF NFL career.

LMAO...jumping the gun a little, aren't ya? Leave it up to a Domer to proclaim a college Sr as a "likely HOFer". You need to see if he can handle Alabama's run game before making such a stupid statement.

Having an excellent NFL career. Lulz at saying Teo is going to the NFL HOF and he hasn't even been drafted yet.

Little animal just signed a 4 year contract extension for the rams for 43 million. Has a shot if making the pro bowl. He has started there since day one.

How on earth can you say Teo will likely have a HOF NFL career?. He has potential but to say any player is a likelya HOF is absurd.

Pretty good LB for the Rams. loco never go full retard like projecting a college SR to be future HOF..

I think he won every defensive award imaginable...trick is to somehow pull out the all around awards like the maxwell or walter camp to really get your total up.

  • Not really impressed with Laurinitis inspite of his new $40MM contract. He was a good, steady play at OSU but never hear of him being considered one of the elite LB's in NFL. If he was that good don't you think the Rams defense would be better than it is?

After watching Te'o for four years like both of us have you cannot honestly tell me he cannot be an elite MLB in NFL like Urlacher and Lewis? I know there are no guarantees in life however Te'o has the drive and the leadership mentality that tells me that he will never "settle" for being average. Short of injuries derailing him I expect what I stated above.

I have no doubt he'll be an elite MLB, but reserving his HOF bust is a bit premature. I love Teo, but coming into this season I was a little critical on him for not having forced any fumbles, having never recovered a fumble, and 0 INT's in his first 3 years at ND. He was good, but not a difference maker. Keep in mind I was also critical of Motta's tackling ability in the open field and thought for sure we were a 5, maybe 6 loss team. All my complaints and projections have been proven wrong this year, thankfully!

  • After winning the Walter Camp, Bednarik and the Maxwell today.... According to Staff Writer Wes Morgan His six national awards is the most of any college player ever and it ended a nine-year streak of quarterbacks to win the Maxwell Award.
