Manti captained much better than Johnny Football when Johnny Football led his team to a victory in Tuscaloosa? ND didn't play a team all year nearly as tough as Alabama, so you fail. You also failed to pay attention to the facts that I mentioned. How many top 25 offenses did Manti face?

You don't get it...it doesn't matter. Top 25 offenses is a worthless stat. Comparing teams that play completely different schedules proves nothing.
Comparing how they perform versus their opponent's average output is what matters.
So against what LSU, Bama, and UF averaged giving up, you were only 8.2 points better.
Against what Stanford, Oklahoma, and Michigan were averaging scoring, ND was 21.6 points better.
One win doesn't make a heisman. People have been winning in TTown for a century. BFD it's a 12 game season, and in the other big games he played he didn't do anything.

Seriously? Get your stats correct...he's tied for 63rd in the country in passes defended.
And for all those touting ND's schedule...it wasn't all that. It ranks behind A&M's. Pitt? Come on! They got pounded by a FCS opponent! End of that discussion.
Everyone here knows that Te'o is very good football player...but he is not the best in college football. The fact that people have to bring up the very definition of "What the Heisman is Supposed to Represent" kinda proves that your case for "Te'o for Heisman", statistically, and in actuality, is weak.
But don't despair. There is a silver lining. We all know you F'n Irish fans are all hyped to have your day in the sun, but after Manziel wins the Heisman, and 'Bama the National Championship, you can look back on this year and say that, "yes, Notre Dame was relevant again".

You can look it up. Those are the facts. His completion percentage went down by 6.4 %, his passing yards down 18 %, his TD passes down 66 %, interceptions up 40 %, yards per carry down 46 %, rushing TD's down 160 %.
Te'o had his tackles up 28 %, sacks up 62 %, interceptions up 40 %, tackles for loss up 64 %.
Also, ND held those teams to 21 points below their season average, while Agy put up only 8.1 points more than what those teams were averaging giving up.
Manti captained a much better defense than Johnny did an offense. Facts are facts. Johnny ran up his numbers against the nobodies on his schedule.
