Yep, that is probably why he won all of those other award and why he is projected as the top 1 or 2 linebackers taken in the draft. It is all because he attended ND. I just cannot figure out why every recruit in the nation would not want to attend ND since they would get accolades and highty drafted based only on picking ND. j The most highly awarded player ever in one season and all because he went to ND. The first defensive player since 1980 to win the Maxwell Award and all because he went to ND.

...and still no link. You were wrong...multiple times. I pointed it out and apparently ruined you so bad that you feel the need to stalk me. You and I both know I never said what you claimed. If not then you have a reading comprehension problem as well as a problem with the truth and stalking.

Te’o's 7 interceptions are the highest number of interceptions by a linebacker of the last twelve years. To give you an idea of how remarkable an achievement that is, there isn’t one other linebacker in the top 20 in interceptions and the next closest linebacker has just 4 interceptions. Te’o is tied for the lead in takeaways nationally (interceptions and fumbles recovered) with 9 (the other two leaders are defensive backs). Additionally, there isn’t a linebacker on record who has 7 interceptions and 100 tackles in a year (at least that we can find.) While some may look at Te’o's lack of sacks and/or tackles for loss, it’s important to note that he was asked to play a completely different role this year. When asked to play that role last year he had 5.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss. Those are outside linebacker numbers from the middle linebacker position. Ironically, pass coverage was supposed to be his one weakness coming into this year. Te’o played against many early Heisman candidates… who weren’t candidates after they played Notre Dame including Bell, Robinson, Taylor, Lee and Jones. If the criteria is “outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity“, it’s hard to argue any player has been more “outstanding while exhibiting the pursuit of excellence with integrity”, than Manti Te’o.

You're right, I was wrong. He's only second amongst LB's
. He leads the country in ONE category, ONE. I also see that you fail to see the picture I posted. Dat Nguyen was twice the LB that Teo is.

Nope. He's a great MLB talent on a great defense that has had an average year production-wise.
He has 42 more tackles than anyone else on ND's defense...the #1 scoring defense in the nation. He is 2nd among all linebackers for passes defended. He blows away every linebacker in interceptions and is tied for third in the nation in interceptions among all players. How is that an "average year"?

Why don't you get your facts straight. The young lady who ended her life filed charges of sexual assault, which if what you say is true, "touching a tit under a shirt" is a clear case of. I'm not going to go into the sheer evil it takes for a person to bully and intimidate another human being, so severely, that it leads to suicide.
The case of rape, is a separate accusation, against another Notre Dame football player.
As for "Oh and Local and State Police dismissed the allegations"...is that stupidity or just a bold face lie? The case was under the jurisdiction of the NOTRE DAME CAMPUS POLICE. They are the only ones who "investigated" the allegations. I say "investigated" this way with " " as it does not take a rocket scientist to know that you don't wait 15 days after the alleged crime happens to interview the suspect. But you do if you want to cover up facts. Hell they didn't speak to the suspect in the sexual assault case until 5 days after the girl had killed herself. And the guy in the rape case admitted that he threw the girl's panties away in the trash long before the cops got there. That's some Barney Fife skills there. Any attempt at an investigation thereafter would be fruitless. Evidence gone, stories made straight, lawyers involved...nothing could ever come from an investigation when there are parties involved seeking to hide any hint of wrong doing.
Oh and as for your assertion that the girl, who committed suicide, had "attempted suicide before going to college", that's another lie too. You accuse others of using "zero knowledge", and here you are lying your ass off.
This is why nobody likes you Notre Dame fucks...if anything threatens your "holier than thou" image, you attack it like a bunch of rabid dogs, even if it means protecting the face of evil. You all should be ashamed, and should be demanding an proper investigation and punishment for those IF convicted. But you don't care, your campus police doesn't care, your school president, whose a priest, doesn't care...just so long as your image and your football team are protected.

Yep you were wrong...yet again. I am losing count how many times I have proven you wrong the last couple of days. I guess you are going to stalk me even more since I made you look foolish yet again. Oh well, have fun with your childish antics.

Does Te'o really deserve the Heisman?
