I'm still very confused on how what he said was racist. If an American emigrated to China and became premier, he would still not be considered "Chinese" because that is how the Chinese view themselves: ethnically, not nationally. However, when any person emigrates here we (usually) except them as Americans because we view being American as a nationality, not an ethnicity like some around the world do. It has nothing to do with the Asian race. The same thing happens all over the world. Go read about all the nationalistic/ethnic problems that Eastern Europe is having with its immigrants.
