Dog attack update

  • Few months ago I posted about a dog attacking me while having my morning coffee. Owner has a new dog which she should not have. I'm going to call the authorities in the morning. I just found out. These are photos I found if the dog that attacked me. The dog was approximately 45 pounds and very lean.

You should have just whooped the dogs ass. Start choking that skinny little shit and he would have stopped. My dogs have NEVER pulled anything close to what you are describing though. The worst my dogs have done is sometime snap at a finger when they get all excited about a treat.

  • I didn't mean to say your particular dogs are menacing just any dog would be scary at the time.

I managed to tie up the dogs head with the coat and beat the shit out of the mutt. Seriously the dog shit all over the place. Needless to say I didn't need my coffee to wake me up that morning.

    No, no, no

That's not what I'm saying. I thought you were actually joking because that dog looks so fun loving and docile in the pics you posted. I thought you were being sarcastic. I made a joke not knowing that you had actually been attacked.

Oh no worries. I find the attack itself kinda funny. It could have easily turned out to be a huge mess. It's a rather large debate on my street how I wanted handled the attack. I've found out tonight. Had some girl tell me I shouldn't have provoked the incident. She couldn't grasp the fact I hadn't been outside that morning. I live in Vail, Colorado so it never gets too warm.

  • My english bulldog pissed on my gf's floor cause of another dog pissing there and when she went to punish him he snarled and shit. He knew he did wrong and was about to be punished. Just a dog trait. He's one of the smartest and nicest dog I've owned. Sometimes their animal instinct takes over

I love dogs. I want to get one soon but I have a roommate that is allergic to all animals. Normally I don't care what a dog does or if I get bit.

Oh and I am one of the biggest dog lovers out there. Just pisses me off when owners can't keep their pets contained

Yeah me too. It pisses me off all the people that surround me can't obey leash laws. I had a friend who had a neighbor's dog jump through a window with no one home and the dog got stuck inside. The dog toor up the house trying to get out. When he called up the owner saying he will give the dog back if she will pay for the mess. She freaked out called the cops for "dog napping." She ended up getting in a bunch of trouble for what the dog did according to the police. The police considered the dog part of his property until she pays him in full for damages. He never got paid back but he loves the dog so I guess it all worked out.

Note the damages were around 300 dollars so not extravagant by any means.

Sounds almost like a cook troll, except Cook would have kept the dog and had it neutered by now in his story.

  • Whatever happened to the dog that attacked you? Did it get euthanized? Is that why she has another one or is it in addition to the old one? Why shouldn't she have this new one?

Dude! The first time you mentioned this ordeal to tbb, you made no mention of said dog shitting. Or shitting all over the place no less. You can never leave out the shit part if there is a shit part. Just saying.

Dog got euthanized after extensive pleading by the owner towards me. She has a new dog that she allows to wander and lets it do whatever it wants. The new mutt seems kinda cool the two times it has run up to me but it scares that the new dog is around 80 pounds. I'll have a lot harder time beating the shit out of the new dog compared to the old mutt if I get attacked, again.

It sucks that you get berated by the people of your neighborhood over the incident, although initially I thought that given you didn't get hurt at all, it was down right despicable and dishonorable to ask for that dog's life. What altered my opinion was checking out your previous posts and seeing you mention that same dog attacked a little girl and she needed 60 stitches. Given that situation, it's understandable as the dog is a menace and potentially harmful to others. Frankly, I've been attacked by other people's dogs before and it never even crossed my mind to ask a public official to have it killed, but if I had known it hurt children, I might've been a little more forceful. I don't know.
What does concern me is the tenor of your posts. I don't know you and maybe you're a genuinely good person, but a lot of this situation doesn't sit right with me. For starters, why would you make posts asking people if you should walk with the dog like the lady asked or request it gets euthanized? It almost comes off as a Spartan mentality. You're twisting your thumb between up and down and seeing how the masses react to it. You even made it a point to mention that despite receiving extensive pleading from this woman, you decided to have it killed anyway. What was the point of even mentioning her pleading? I only asked if the dog was euthanized. You went out of your way to mention that you were begged before giving the thumbs down. Are you bragging over your power in this situation? If so, that's kind of sick.
Lastly, you mentioned that the new dog seems cool but you still plan to report to authorities. Why? If this dog isn't hurting you or doesn't seem like a threat to anyone, why do you find it necessary to throw your weight around? You even said you'll have a harder time beating the shit out of it as opposed to the last one as if beating the shit out of an animal is a bragworthy post. Again, I don't know you but I feel as if your conduct in this situation is less than genuine and more malevolant than anything.
