Just because they don't think we need an assault weapon or high capacity magazines doesn't mean they should actually try to enforce such a measure.

Just because some politicians don't think a woman should have the right to choose abortion (if done early enough) doesn't mean they should try to enforce such a measure.

Regardless, I will do what I want one way or another. If they were to ban high capacity magazines, I will be able to find them places. I may pay more, but I'll still get them if I Want them.

There are lots of things people don't need.

I hunt with one of my assault rifles for one. I am not going to go buy another bolt action rifle that I will hardly ever use just to hunt.

I own 10+ high capacity magazines for all of my "assault rifles."

I have two questions for you: Does it bother you that I own high capacity magazines?

Given the fact that when I own an assault weapon, I usually buy more than 10 magazines for each, does limiting said magazines to 10 rounds prevent me from wiping out an entire room full of people if I wanted? Do you realize I can reload a magazine in less than 3 seconds?

Same thing for my pistols. Even if limited to 10 rounds, I have many magazines for each. Do you want pistols banned too?

Did you hear about the woman in Atlanta who had an intruder break into her house? She tried to hide but he found her. She shot him 6 times and he still drove away.

What if there were 2 or 3 of them and she only had 10 bullets? That is why I NEED high capacity magazines.
