  • Hey I asked on tRCMB, but maybe you guys can help me. I only follow this stuff for the purpose of trolling Wolvierine / Buckeyes. Is there an easy stat / chart I can use to see how many games we lost today?Like WAR in baseball? Was this kid worth like... 5 games over your average reciever?

    In basketball, I assumed that was the consensus after Parker chose Duke.. yet somehow the program survived

    Duh, you find out whether his offer was committable based on which school he chooses. If he chooses OSU, our coaches decided to allow them to commit. If they sign elsewere, there offer was non-commitable. Pretty simple IMO.

    If the coaches actually wanted these said "decommittments" to be Wolverines they obviously would be.

    Notice the word "officially".

    he said he wants to win national championships... not win a top 10 team recruiting ranking medal. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there though. He must see how vacant that depth chart is at each skill position.

    Also, what has Shane Morris done to prove that he will be even a capable quarterback at the collegiate level. Green could very well be the next Grady? Who knows. That's the point. Hence the recruiting comment. None of these players are proven commodities.

    Is Shane Morris starting for sure? I haven't seen Borges pencil him in as the starter, have you? Gardner is around for two years, Russell Bellomy is on campus, Wilton Speight below him.

    Green could very well be the next Grady, and Deveon Smith could very well be the next Mike Hart. Michigan has lots of options at TB, hopes and dreams don't end with Green.

    Your recruiting comment made no real sense either. He's still two years away from campus, no school has very many proven commodities that will assure him of National Prominence 3 or 4 years down the road. He's going to have to take a leap of faith regardless.

    It's also funny how you assume Michigan is barren for talent at WR. What makes you say that? The recruiting rankings of their WR commits? Or you've seen them play? I guess MSU has no talent at WR either.
