Does it bother UM fans that he basically admitted the reason he went to UM in b2b weeks was because of free basketball tickets?

    To clarify,

He went to UM b2b2b weekends.

    And no.

Graduated last year and working commercial real estate.

    So not in high school.

How is this relevant to Drake Harris?

Like I said, I was just curious.

Does it bother MSU fans that in the same interview that you are citing (While mis-representing what he said, BTW) , that Harris said MSU could go 12-0 and it wouldn't change his mind, because of what other schools have to offer?

"What were the last two weekends in Ann Arbor like?

Harris: It was a great experience. Just being with the coaches and everybody, they’re all great people and I love the campus. My mom and my dad both got down there. Also, my grandpa’s been down there. They all liked it with all the academics and everything and meeting all the players, I had a great time.

What went into the decision to go two weekends in a row?

Harris: Basically there were a lot of good basketball games going on. They played Michigan State and then they played Indiana yesterday, so I wanted to see those games. I enjoyed going down there.

Do you have a timetable of when we can expect a final decision?

Harris: Probably sometime in October, because I’m gonna plan on enrolling early wherever I go.

This is your last basketball season then?

Harris: Yeah, this is my last basketball season.

If Michigan State went 12-0 this year, would you change your mind?

Harris: I don’t know, probably not. Just everything that some of the other schools have to offer, it’s just attracting me and the recruits and recruiting classes other schools are getting, it’s just a better fit.

Would you ever consider playing basketball wherever you go?

Harris: No, I’m done with it. I just feel like I have more success playing football and I have a lot more fun playing football.

    How did I misrepresent?

He was asked why he went two weekend in a row and responded with- basically, there were good basketball games going on.

And no it doesn't bother me.. if Harris wants to play for NT's in football- he shouldn't go to MSU, we're nowhere near that level. But neither is UM, so...

Yes, yes it does..... He wouldn't have been there week 1 if Urbs wasn't on the Cruise for Cancer ....now he's getting ready to visit the big dogs so he needed to be uncommitted....

UM thanks for keeping him out of trouble the last 3 weeks....we'll take it from here....[preciateya] peace

Maybe if the trips didn't include seeing all that Michigan has to offer, with him taking pics along the way. Also included his grandfather and mother on the trips so that they could get comfortable with the program.

You can focus on a small detail, we will look at the big picture, and that doesn't include MSU.

  • You Spartans certainly talk a lot of smack for a school that literally has no redeeming factors, other than being fortunate enough to share the same state as UofM.

Just posting what I saw on the Twitter.. I wasn't specifically making any claims

But now knowing he wants to win NT's.. it makes it easier to know he's headed to the South

I don't acknowledge the Rich Rod years. And I focus on the present and the future. Sparty has no potential to do anything special in any field for the foreseeable future. Especially now that Michigan's basketball program has caught up.

  • If he wants to win a NT he is not going to Michigan.

Michigan wins superficial crap like getting players on video game covers, not nattys.

Hey- don't discount their 2014 class so far: one 3star and one 0 star per ESPN.. two 0stars per Rivals..

They are clearly on the same level as MSU/OSU/IU lol

Agreed, Ann Arbor is south of Grand Rapids and East Lansing.

Your bball team needed someone to perform the heimlech maneuver on them this weekend. You haven't caught up.
